For your Twisted Wood Instrument
There are many factors that influence the tone, timbre, and volume of an instrument!
Today, we will focus on Tonewoods.
A tonewood is a specific material used in the construction of a musical instrument, chosen for its unique impact on the quality of the sound.
At Twisted Wood, we select from a large variety of tonewoods when designing our instruments:
Sapele-
This tonewood is capable of strong low-end tone and top-end definition. Sapele is highly versatile and offers a similar tone and aesthetic to mahogany, but with a slightly lighter shade.
