A Message from the President
Hi, I’m Tom Wolansky, President and founder of Twisted Wood Guitars.
10 years ago, I started this company in an effort to share my passion for beautifully crafted instruments with talented musicians all over the world. Every year has been a journey of learning, relearning, and refining the process that produces some of Canada’s finest ukuleles and weissenborns.
After a decade of business, we would like to extend our utmost thanks to all of our customers- and to all the musicians that have played our instruments over the last 10 years. Without your continued support, Twisted Wood could not have grown into the company that we are today. We are proud to have created a brand that is trusted globally, and enjoyed by musicians in every genre.
From our headquarters in St. Albert, Alberta, Twisted Wood Guitars continues to be an industry leader in the creation of musical instruments. This year, we have launched three new ukuleles, each catering to an ever evolving demographic of players. The Ember, Switchback and Koa 2.0 are emblematic of Twisted Wood’s desire to continually raise standards, and create instruments with a constant view toward innovation.
We also released an acoustic guitar- The Drifter. In keeping with the fundamental spirit of Twisted Wood Guitars,- a love of both music and the great outdoors, the Drifter combines a travel-friendly body shape with a powerful acoustic response. We are proud to introduce it into our growing line-up of instruments.
We’ve decided to commemorate the first decade of Twisted Wood Guitars by giving each and every one of our instruments a new look. Our new headstock logo bears our eminent ‘TW’ insignia and mountain emblem, inspired by the unforgettable landscapes of Canada. We’re proud to mark such an important milestone with this new design, and we couldn’t be more excited about the future of Twisted Wood Guitars. Going forward, we will continue to provide exciting and inventive instruments to customers and retailers in Canada, the United States, and across the globe.
